This fascinating old map of Europe was published by William Spooner, London, December 1842.

It was expertly photographed by Bahadir Kavlakli in its original condition and shows old pencil notes and fold marks on it.

During the 18th Century, many people travelled across Europe on what was known as the "Grand Tour," and this map suggested places to visit.
