For many decades, folk healers have used the mullet as a medicine. Mullein has anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving and expectorant properties. The various parts of the plant are used in the treatment of diseases of the upper respiratory tract, such as whooping cough and bronchitis. Mullein helps with pneumonia.

Decoction of mullet helps with atherosclerosis, the initial stage of hypertension, flu and viral herpes. The leaves of the plant are used for bladder infections, kidney stones, severe edema. It also helps with gastritis, ulcers and hemorrhoids. Mullein decoction is used to rinse the hair to strengthen it and make it more beautiful.

Mullein is used in the form of ointments that are applied in case of rheumatism, arthritis, inflammation of the facial nerve, lichen, eczema, abscesses and boils.

Women who are breastfeeding and have cracked nipples can use mullet oil.

Method of use of Mullein flower

Mullet in lung diseases:
Mullet color, chicory roots and rose hips, in equal proportions. 2 tbsp. of the mixture is poured with 1 cup of water. Simmer on low heat for 10 minutes, then let stand for 2 hours. After the liquid has cooled, add 2 tbsp. honey Take three times a day, 2 hours after meals (adults - 50-100 ml, children - 30-40 ml).

Mullein for rheumatism and sciatica

Mullein infusion diluted with vodka (1:10) and smeared on the back and joints.

Mullein oil recipe

3 tablespoons of mullet, pour 100 ml of vegetable oil or olive oil, leave for 20-30 days in sunlight.
