Jean Starr Untermeyer, a poet involved in several artist colonies and socially connected in several writer's friends circles, was twice married to Louis Untermeyer, who helped launch her career.
This is Jean's memoirs of an impressive group of literary authors she associated with comprising Ezra Pound, Carl Sandburg, Robert Frost, Amy Lowell, Sara Teasdale, Edna St. Vincent Millay, Edith Sitwell, Siegfried Sassoon, Sylvia Townsend Warner, and many more, including the author she translated and co-wrote with, Hermann Broch.
