Oxford Pince Nez Antique Eye Glasses with 1/10 12K Frames and Original Chain Case Cloth

These glasses can be folded with the lenses over lapping and coming together, although I have not tried to fold them as I am not sure how they work. The hinges on the bridge appear to be in perfect working order and the nose resting pieces are also in good condition.

Chain is delicate with the necklace being 24" around and the drop to the eye glasses at 4.5 " long. easily fits over the head but can be unclasped as well.  

Chain is fancy scroll work.

Eye glass frame width is 10.5 cm end to end, lenses are 4.2cm round  bridge is 5 cm across  nose opening is 1 cm and these measurements enlarge if you expand the frame  by pulling the them open. Bridge is flexible and these are the kind of glasses that  pinch on the nose to hold steady.  Lenses that are currently in them are magnifying and work well.  

The glasses come in their ORIGINAL case with Original cleaning cloth.  Both advertise the doctor - Dr. A.G. Steinfeld of Madisonville, KY.
