Unlike its monocolored siblings, it puts on red, white, and pink flowers that emerge on stems before the leaves, in the spring. It has dark green leaves with growth to 6ft making it a great backdrop or hedge when grouped along a fence line. 
✅ The blooms serve as the primary attraction for both humans and pollinators, making this ornamental bloomer a delightful addition to any garden. You can choose to leave the shrub unpruned to attract butterflies and bees, or selectively prune some flowering branches to create an exquisite indoor centerpiece.
