Synopsis

This documentary tells the history of the sacred land of the Dakota Sioux and Cheyenne and the illegal confiscation of this land by the United States Federal Government.

Brilliantly made and edited, with powerful imagery. It documents the US government's desecration of one of the most sacred religious sites amongst Native Americans, particularly for the Sioux and the Cheyenne. If you have not seen this documentary, I highly recommend it. It gives an insight to a tragedy we don't often see.

This tape is tragically out of print. Aired in 1993 on HBO.
