DESCRIPTION & ANALYSIS

Groundbreaking Liberty Design by George T. Morgan

George T. Morgan, who lends his name to this coin, designed both of its faces. On the obverse is his left-side portrait of Liberty. This series is significant because that portrait represented the first time that Liberty was depicted as an American figure rather than a Greek one. She is shown with long, curly hair that is partially covered by a Phrygian cap. Also on her head are a ribbon that bears an inscription of her name and a crown made from two important American crops, cotton, and wheat.

On the reverse is an eagle, which has long been a national symbol. It holds arrows and an olive branch in its talons. Between its up stretched wings is the national motto, "IN GOD WE TRUST."

Uncirculated MS63

This coin received a grade of Mint State 63 from the experts at the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation. That means that it has a slightly weak to average strike and some moderate abrasions or hairlines.

Looking at this coin, we touch with our eyes a piece of US history, sometimes very turbulent but also interesting and beautiful. The term Restrike is a coin that was minted at a later date. These coins are minted contemporaneously and do not contain 100 percent silver; however, they reflect their character in genuine state. Today, many people, both beginners and those already more advanced in numismatics also collect Restrike coins. |These coins are inserted together with their coin collection, filling the gaps with their genuine collections. They depict historical history in their beauty and are some of the most beautiful coins the world has ever minted and heard about these amazing collections.
