The set comes replete with its original bunny family comprised of Dad, in an aqua vest, Mom, with a removable purple skirt, and Baby with an light blue sleeper and bottle. Their home is concealed inside of a foldable tree house (great for storage). The upstairs loft is a bedroom where Baby bunny can curl up for a nap with his favorite blanket. Downstairs, there is a pull out kitchen where Mom can prepare their meals, including carrots and other delicacies. Also on the lower floor is a common living area complete with lithoed storage containers and a toasty fireplace. Being accustomed to outdoor living, the Bunny family often eats their meals outside on top of a tree stump. The top of this stump swivels to reveal a concealed snack of milk and cookies. Baby bunny often likes to sit on his outdoor lithoed blanket and take a sip from his bottle while Mom swings on the outdoor swing. Sometimes, Baby bunny likes to play "Hide-and-Seek" by crawling under a leaf overhang and sitting on a secret bench or watching the fish in the little nearby pond. Mom sometimes bakes their favorite special dessert, strawberry pie. In addition, the set comes with a purple storage chest that opens and closes and is handy to store Baby bunny's aqua blanket when not in use. All of the characters have maintained their original bold paint colors and are fully posable. A number of "add-on" mini-sets were offered to extend the play opportunities afforded by this set. Noted "imperfections" include: some edgewear and rubs on the pond litho, one small bubble on the nearby pink rug, some loosening on one corner of the canister litho and on the upper left hand corner of the sink litho, and some discoloration on the purple swing seat. I will be tacking down the loose lithos using Rubber Cement so they won't curl further. Nothing is broken, cracked, stained, or marked with extraneous pen or marker decorations.
The box, while crumpled, bowed, and misshapen, does provide a detailed inventory of all the accessories contained in this set. The box has retained all of its original flaps but exhibits numerous rubs, creases, extraneous tape, and torn lithos. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, I would award this box a 6.5/10. This set, with its original box, will be shipped in a protective box. Its UNWRAPPED weight is 3 lbs., 12 oz. My location is Lafayette, IN (47905). Due to its size, it will probably require an oversized box.
