This is an unmarked pre owned engraved sterling silver short "S" shank bit with a medium high curb mouthpiece. This bit is absolutely stunning, and the genuine sterling silver and stainless steel Calvary style "S" cheeks are amazing as shown by the close up photos of the quality engraving. This bit is in clean lightly used pre owned condition with some very light rusting on the sweet iron mouthpiece.
The mouthpiece is a 1-3/4 inch tall by 2-1/4 inch wide curb port and measures 3/8 inches in diameter by 4-3/5 inches wide. The "S" curve shanks measure 6 inches total in length and the purchase measurement from the mouthpiece to the top rings is 2-1/2 inches for a 2.4 to 1 leverage ratio. This is a stunning bit that will be equally effective in the pleasure or cutting pen. You will have to look hard to find a more beautiful sterling silver bit !
