- Before the advent of our waxed lacing tape, plastic ties were actively used to bundle and secure cables. Despite their popularity, these ties can clog cables and reduce performance. Because of this, our cable wax lacing cord continue to be preferred as a low cost alternative to plastic in certain applications.
- Our wax lacing cord consists of 9 threads twisted together and impregnated with wax. The result is 1 strong cable lacing tape with a loop strength of 160 lbs. Unlike plastic ties that become brittle and break in harsh climates, our lacing twine remains smooth and flexible so it won't cut your hands or abrade cable sheaths.
- Thanks to the impregnation of wax, our thread is waterproof. After being waxed, our threads go through a polishing process, which removes excess wax and makes the thread smoother for even more comfortable use. These qualities also make our black twine string particularly suitable for nautical and sailing applications; linking landscape clippings; and craft projects that require secure knot tying. Black twine string 210D Polyester (NYLON) is ideal for use with tags for all your labeling needs.
