The instructions for trade are as follows:

Step 1: Press X
Step 2: Click "Poké Portal"
Step 3: Click L to connect to the internet
Step 4: Select "Link Trade"
Step 5: Enter the code *******
Step 6: Click "Begin Searching"
Step 7: When we are connected select any unwanted Pokémon to trade
