This cute teapot is in the shape of an old woman with a shawl and umbrella. She is multi-colored with yellow umbrella, purple and green dress, pink cape. She was produced by H J Wood in the mid 1930s and is marked Made in England on the bottom. Her registration number is 82653. She is approximately 8 inches tall with the lid on. The bottom measures approximately 5 3/4 inches by 5 1/2 inches. In black ink under the glaze on the bottom it is marked: J.W.C. 3. There is a great deal of age crazing on this one, which is to be expected of ceramics from this time period. She will display nicely with other vintage teapots. When properly packed, the shipping weight will be 5 pounds.
