The 3,160th and final strip ran on Sunday, December 31, 1995. It depicted Calvin and Hobbes outside in freshly fallen snow, reveling in the wonder and excitement of the winter scene. "It's a magical world, Hobbes, ol' buddy... Let's go exploring!" Calvin exclaims as they zoom off over the snowy hills on their sled, leaving, according to one critic ten years later, "a hole in the comics page that no strip has been able to fill."

It measures 4 inches wide at the base & 5 inches tall from base to top. No chips or scratches. This is a photo of the actual item~not a stock image. It's a very tight shot so that you can see the image clearly. 4 x 5 inches is a perfect size for holding & shaking. And it's heavy enough to make a good paperweight. Please see our other snow globes (snowglobes).
