It was only tested and never used (less than 10 hours of power on time), it was purchased as a reserve device and only stored sine the day of purchase (it stood for some time on the desk - as a result it has some even invisible minor scratches - that someone can hardly find). There is (and never was) any dust inside or on the surface, because it was never used and stored in absolutely clean environment! It was never repaired, of cause, because it is new :) I tested the device in all types of operation before listing in order to be sure that everything operates properly! The recorder is ideal as a professional device for record/play DV and miniDV cassettes as well as as analogue to digital converter to make digital copies of your old VHS and other tapes (you do not even need a DV cassette for it - just connect the recorder to your computer via FireWire - IE1394 cable and use any video capture software). The recorder comes with the genuine remote control, manual and a power supply unit...  

The device voltage is universal - 100-240VAC. PAL/NTSC switchable system.
