Vintage “Tinkerbell “ Style Visitor Alarm/ Single Bell Wind Chime---This is a very nice piece of metallic folk art.  It is an outdoor piece ideal for a gate post, gazebo, shed, patio or carport.   If  you're not interested in the ringing of the bell it can be mounted inside in a sun room or on a seldom used door.

 

A Curious Thing is that while it looks like a wrought iron or cast iron figure, it is totally non-magnetic and a small scratch test leads me to believe it is made of heavy brass and has been painted white..No further testing was done but it could be another heavy metal.  The total weight of the assembly is 1 pound. ll ounces.

 

Size:  The overall length of the assembly is 18.5 in.  It's greatest width is from the wall hook to the outside of the fairy wing tip is 8 in.  The fairy herself measures 4 in. high by 5 in. wide.  The bell (which has a nice ring to it) measures 3 inches long and 3 inches wide.  To the bell clapper is attached a chain and butterfly which measures 8 inches.

 

This is a very unique piece of outdoor art.
