This is an interesting and unique brooch.  I believe the brooch is enamel over brass.  The face is white enamel with brass detail and a dark outlined eye.  The "hat" is quite fancy with an intricate pattern.  The back is marked and it looks like "BKONZF."  I have searched for this mark and have been unable to find it.  As always, I welcome input from viewers.  This lovely brooch measures approximately 2 1/4 inch high and 1 1/8 inch across.  The pin stem is sturdy and it fastens into a C hook.  The brooch is clean and in excellent condition.  It has a one of a kind look.  The image does not do it justice!
