This listing is for a BEAUTIFUL better quality vintage butterfly brooch that can also we worn as a pendant.  The cut glass tones are a deep, rich turquoise.  The cut glass stones that rim the outside edges are round.  The head is a larger round cut stone and the body consists of two, large and smooth navettes.   The wings have a delicate filigree pattern of little hearts.  The antenna are twisted metal that attach to the top of the wings.  The color is aged silver tone that looks like the color of pewter.  The turquoise and pewter/gray are a fabulous combination!  I am sure you could bring out the silver tone with some silver cleaner if you do it sparingly but I think the color is really nice just the way it is.  All stones are all firmly pronged in and all have excellent color.  The catch works well and there is a bale so that you can put it on a chain if you prefer.   Such style!    The butterfly measures approximately 2 1/2 inches high and 2 1/4 inches across.  The photo does not do it justice!  At all!
