• Lacy Flint Glass frequently attributed to Boston and Sandwich
• usually referenced as a Toddy Plate, labeled as a Sauce in Lee's Sandwich Glass (plate 102)
• Princess Feather with Pinwheel
• Crystal; Clear
• Quantity: 3
• Antique c. 1840's
• Measurements: 4 3/8" diameter and 3/4" high
• Weight, prepackaged: 11.8 oz as a set
• Condition: All three have light chipping on the rim and one has a molding flaw on the shoulder near the scallops. The pressing on two is fantastic. The third is crudely pressed. One has sickness on the rim as seen in the photos. The other two are clear and free of cloudiness with a light glow under UV light. They have nice resonance for their shape. The Princess Feather patterns were very popular during the 1830-40's with many houses pressing variations including Boston and Sandwich, Bakewell Pears and Cape Cod. This particular pattern can be found in Ruth Webb Lee's "Sandwich Glass".
