The story is set in Haiti in the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries against the background of the Slave revolt led by Toussaint L'Ouverture and his successor Henri Christophe who proclaimed himself King.
Book is in acceptable condition. General shelf and corner wear. Some white marks on the front and back cover. Some fraying along the cover edges. The spine has some issues (see photo #3).
