1825 antique HANDWRITTEN DOCUMENT jackson co in LIBERTY MEETING HOUSE copeland

This listing is for the original paper Manuscript document dated 1826 by which Christian Berky certifies that Jonathan Graham, Christian Berky, Lewis Rogers, James Copeland, and William Graham were elected as trustees of the "liberty meeting house" "driftwood township", Jackson County, Indiana for the purpose of receiving a deed for land upon which to erect a meeting house.

Measures approx 8"x 6" in. on wove, rag-content paper; age toned., some creasing and other light antique wear.

Overall very good antique condition.  Legible ink/penmanship.

Excellent original early family and/or town genealogy, history, antique, collectible heirloom and/or ephemera.
