This set of 6 vintage napkins feature a machine embroidered flower basket in one corner, and a machine embroidered light blue trim around most of the napkin, with light pink trim on either side of the flower basket and blue trim in the corner below the flower basket. They look like they may be cotton, or cotton blend, but I am not certain.

There are a few small pin holes in them all the the same spots. I believe they may have been due to the original owner using a safety pin to keep the set together when stored away. There are a few frayed spots on the trim, but not enough to take away from the simplistic beauty of these napkins. The colors of the flowers are only slightly faded from age and use. They measure approximately 10 3/4 by 10 1/4 inches. I would date these circa the 1960s. They do need to be ironed, (sorry I prefer to leave things like that to the new owners, as I would probably ruin them in the process) They would make a wonderful addition to any collection of vintage kitchen linens, they could also be framed and matted and used as wall art, or place then under glass on a tea tray or cart.
