Well cut on a water white blank with
Twelve 12 point Hobstars surrounding a center 16 point Hobstar
Fans & Beading at each corner
It is in very good overall condition. Some nicking to the outer rim to the teeth
The flake & chip on the corner tooth is the worst (shown)
The pattern looks clean without noticeable damage and inside looks to have no scratches!
The plate measures approx 6 13/16" square x 1 3/8" tall

The American Brilliant Period of Cut Crystal was generally cut between the years of 1876 to the 1920's and met a rapid decline when the lead used in making brilliant glass was needed for World War 1. Unique to America, the craftsmen of American Brilliant Period Cut Glass era, created their own place in the history of glassmaking.
Highly collectible, from the making the glass to the craftsmanship of hand cutting the crystal, this period was like no other in the world of which we will never see again.
