Nova Scrimia DVD by Graziano Galvani
Fencing is, as the old medieval Masters said, the art of combat in armis et sine armis (with weapons and empty hands), and its history could be precisely described through a period of seven centuries, practically since the dawning of our days. To practice Fencing means to learn a Martial Art with exclusive ends related to combat and the preservation of life. Today, Fencing, its historical and martial heritage, as well as the technical wealth of the traditional Italian warrior, is perpetuated with Nova Scrimia, a current vision of the art of combat with arms and with empty hands that brings together the authentic Italian martial tradition with a path open to the martial practitioner of our times. In this project, the Nova Scrimia group explains to us the structure, the fundamental space-time principles, and the strategies that dictate this art. We will study the exercises, technique combinations, and application in self-defense with one-handed baton, two-handed baton, cane, empty hands, sword, and dagger. This is an indispensable DVD to know the legacy of the old Masters and its evolution. - Languages included in DVD: English, EspaƱol, Deutsch, Italiano, Francais
