This tin shows a scene of mallard ducks flying up out of water and reeds. The ducks and reeds are raised in a 3D effect and appear to be hand painted. The wood finish looks to be veneer. There is a keyhole in the upper back side of the lid so that it can be used as a wall hanging if desired. It measures 10" across the bottom and 2" tall. Smith Crafted Chicago is stamped into the bottom. It is in good overall condition but does have signs of wear. The paint is somewhat faded and the gold trim around the edges has some missing paint. There is a section on one edge that is slightly flat, but it is not terribly noticeable. I tried to show it in the last two pictures.
