Rare ZBT ANTIQUE STERLING BELT BUCKLE 1930’s

THIS STERLING BELT/BOOK BAG BUCKLE HAS NO PEER ON THE WEB.

ALL YOU ZEEBS OUT THERE WOULD APPRECIATE IT - People who collect order jewelry also.

It measures 1 ⅝” long x ⅝” wide.

It is superbly executed with the raised ZBT 1898 CREST upon a field of hammered sterling with scroll ornaments.

The graceful buckle has an acorn pattern.  "Sterling” is clearly stamped on the buckle.

The crest shows the balanced censors of Justice and the, “TORCH OF UNFLINCHING TRUTH”

The Fraternity has always advocated against hate, and the BROTHERHOOD promotes equal rights.

It was the first to abolish Pledging and has two tier membership status.

This piece appears to date from the 1930’s.

This may be repurposed as a pin. Put on a shoulder strap or narrow belt. Maybe adorn the strap of a trendy leather backpack or a handbag strap. It would slide easily on the leather or canvas strap of a backpack strap.

Hopefully a ZEEB out there will once again wear it proudly. Brotherhood for LIFE!
