DeVilbiss - Steuben - Blue Aurene Atomizer - 

1925 RARE - Museum Piece

Carder Blue Aurene Atomizer was only shown in 1925’s DeVilbiss Catalog . 

It is rarer than the more common gold aurene example. 

The flared foot does not have the cutting seen on some of these atomizers, hence it presents with a seamless and a graceful presence.  

The long (9 1/2") slender body holds a perfect deluxe DeVilbiss hardware which is gold plated and still lustrous after close to a Century. 

The Blue Aurene is a deep iridescent blue.. the lace covered beige silken braided bulb was replaced by an Atomizer expert to match the original as closely as possible. 

The rubber on the original deteriorated from age. 

This Museum quality piece is ready to display or use??

There are no cracks, chips, repairs (BULB replaced- see above)...
