Synopsis: 
This is the story of the emperor's grandson Li Ni, who guards the border and is forced to take responsibility for suppressing the uprising. Although Li Ni is the emperor's grandson, he was never loved by his father. He hides his identity and is content to be a carefree frontier general with no intention of fighting for power. During campaigns against the rebels, he meets the ambitious Cui Lin, the only daughter of General Cui Yi, commander of the Cui family army. Cui Lin hid her true identity and disguised herself as Lieutenant He, who fought alongside the army. Their paths often cross on the battlefields. One is scheming and funny, the other is deceitful and open-hearted.
