We are so fortunate to live in the Amish, Lancaster PA area, and are able to bring you original, authentic period antiques, and this is one of those special pieces.

1868 antique PENNSYLVANIA GERMAN NT BIBLE lancaster PETER HELT

This listing is for the 7.25" x 4.5" cloth over board german bible.   The only family information is the child-like handwriting of Peter's name.

Book is basically intact, though there are 2 pages detached but included.   Antique wear as shown, but good for age.   Some age spots and foxing, and some pencil scribbles on blank endpapers from Peter.

There is at least an archival or other repair on the title page as shown.

Excellent original early family and/or town genealogy, history, antique, collectible heirloom and/or ephemera.
