“Wedding at Cana”
By Revs Bonaventure Ostendarp & Raphael Pfister
Painted around the turn of the last century by Benedictine monks for a church in Pennsylvania, this Wedding at Cana is meant not just to be beautiful but to aid the faithful in their spiritual lives. It was large and glued on the wall of the nave, where weddings happen. It was a reminder of the holiness of marriage, and how much better our marriages are when we invite Jesus and Mary into them.
The Wedding at Cana is the second luminous mystery, and the fruit of the mystery is “To Jesus through Mary.”
We are the only source in the world for this picture. We spent a lot of time restoring it. This picture makes a great wedding or anniversary gift. It is good to have devotional art around the home. I find that surrounding myself with Catholic art helps my faith life.
We now offer the print in a beautiful frame to make the complete gift!
Besides this print, we can also print this as invitations or as insert cards for invitations.
We offer two square frames for this print, one in black and one in a light, reddish - colored wood. If you would like a frame, please select your choice under "Framing" above.
– 8.5 x 11" acid-free paper
– Archival pigments, rated to last for generations.
– Cardboard backer
– Above story of the art
– Enclosed in a tight-fitting, crystal clear bag.
If you would like us to frame it, please make your selection above, under "Framing".
** IMPORTANT ** There is about an inch-and-a-third of white space around the picture, so the image is smaller than the paper.
Thanks for your interest!
