Should I use Nazodren while driving or using machines?
It is not recommended to drive or use machines during the first 2 hours after using Nasodrén.

Interactions with other medicines Which medicines
affect the effect of Nasodoen and what do you need to know if you are taking other medicines?
Other nasal products can be used 1.5-2 hours after administration of Nasodrain.
Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you can use Nasodrene if you are taking blood clotting products (such as coumarin, acetylsalicylic acid derivatives) or anticholinergics (such as atropine).

Method of application: Nazodren is intended for adults and children over 5 years of age:

1. Turn the cap of the vial containing the powder in an anti-clockwise direction and remove the stopper.
2. Open the plastic bottle with the liquid by breaking off its top.
3. Pour all the liquid into the powder vial.
4. Screw the injection nozzle to the vial and shake gently until you get a homogeneous mixture. Wait for the foam to disappear.
5. Remove the protective cap from the injection nozzle.
6. Make 2-3 air test sprays, avoiding eye contact.
7. Keep your head up without leaning forward or backward. Place the nozzle in one nostril. Do not breathe briefly (about 3-5 seconds) and spray from the solution only once. Take a deep breath through your mouth and then breathe normally.
DO NOT INHALE DURING SPRAYING.
8. Repeat the procedure with the other nostril as described in paragraph 7 above.
9. Clean the nozzle with a clean handkerchief. Reinsert the protective cap.

How and for how long should Nazodren be used?
The solution is injected into each nostril only once a day or once every 2 days, preferably at the same time, about 2 hours before bedtime. Treatment lasts between 7-10 days, but if necessary it can last up to 12-16 days. Increasing the daily dose does not lead to an increase in the healing effect.
In case of complications with yeast infection, concomitant treatment with an antibiotic is recommended. Significant improvement or general symptomatic relief is achieved after 6-8 applications. The headache that usually accompanies these conditions decreases or disappears completely after 3-5 injections of Nasodren. Even if you feel relief of symptoms, it is recommended to continue treatment for at least 7-10 days.
If you miss one spray, continue treatment the next day as recommended.
If in severe or chronic cases it is necessary to repeat the treatment, this can be done only after a break of 7-10 days after the completion of the previous course.

How does Nasodren work?A few minutes after spraying, when the saponins in Nazodren come into physical contact with the nasal mucosa, you may feel a slight prickling, itching, burning sensation in your nose, or start sneezing. As a result, there is abundant separation of accumulated secretions from the nose and paranasal cavities until they are cleared and drained. This abundant secretion can last up to 2 hours. As a result, headaches, which often occur due to inflammation of the frontal sinus cavity and maxillary sinuses, quickly disappear. With otitis, existing secretions are quickly eliminated, which leads to a decrease in ear pain and a recovery of hearing loss.
Nasodrene does not cause significant residual irritation of the nose and paranasal cavities.

What to do in case of an overdose with Nasodrene?
An overdose of Nasodren can cause a strong burning sensation in the nasopharyngeal region, but without serious consequences.
Accidental overdose is recommended washing with warm water of the nasal cavity through the nostrils, as well as gargling with warm water.

Possible side effects Like all products, Nasodrene can cause side effects
. All of them are related to the mode of action of Nasodren and are described in the section «How does Nasodren work?». It is normal to have some of these symptoms. They show that the product works. In these cases, treatment should not be interrupted.
Do not worry if pink secretions appear from the nose.
