Judith McCann invented the wingback clip design in the 1940s. 

The t-bar piece fits inside the ear, resting on top of the lobe.

The upward-facing piece fits behind the lobe keeping the earring in place.

There are no marks or hallmarks but these are attributed to McCann.

Please remember some of these pieces are vintage and may show signs of a little bit of wear.

Also, I Do Not Clean My Jewelry. I Leave It Up To The New Owner If They Wish To Do So. Sometimes The Natural Aging Process Of Jewelry Leaves A Nice Look.
