Solid Brazilian wood art lazy susan circa late 1950''s to early 1960's by designer Jean Gillon for Tropic Art. Jean Gillon (1919–2007) was a Brazilian furniture designer. Born in Iaşi , Romania, he studied fine arts in Iaşi and took an architecture degree in Bucharest in 1942. He moved to Brazil in 1956, and in 1958 he founded Italma / Wood Art / Tropic Art, a firm which produced furniture and household objects from local Brazilian hardwoods. Measures 17 1/4" in Diameter , 4" Tall and top tray is 3.5" in Diameter.
