Madonna and Child – Enrique M. Vidal – 8.5x11"

“Madonna and Child”by Enric Monserdà VidalWe love the colors in this one, the elegance and beauty of Mary, the tenderness of her love and the sweetness of her child. There is a gentle intimacy between them and at the same time there is majesty in their bearing. And did we mention the colors? That teal-blue gown with the gold background just knocks us out! This is a beautiful devotional piece that would look good in any home and help focus the faith of all who see it. The original, done by Enric Monserdà Vidal (1850 – 1926), is on a wood panel in a church in Spain.
