It treats the symptoms associated with venous and lymphatic insufficiency: the feeling of heaviness in the legs, leg pain, nocturnal calf cramps, and also in the case of exacerbation of ailments associated with hemorrhoids.

Contraindications

Diosminex should not be used in people who are hypersensitive to diosmin or to any of the excipients.

Dosage

The recommended dose is 1 tablet once a day with meals. Tightening the ailments of varicose veins: 3 tablets a day for 4 days, then 2 tablets a day for the next 3 days.

Do not use more than the recommended dose of the drug.

Composition

The active substance is diosmin (Diosminum). One tablet contains 1000 mg of micronised diosmin.

The other ingredients are: tablet core: microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, croscarmellose sodium, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate.

Coating: polyvinyl alcohol, titanium dioxide (E171), macrogol 3350, talc, quinoline yellow lake (E 104), indigo carmine (E 132), sunset yellow lake (E 110), iron oxide black (E 172).
