For your consideration is a vintage Wallace silver plate trivet.  This is numbered 7332 and it is expandable from 8 1/4" to 12 1/2" in diameter.  A beautiful Art Noveau etched design.  It is footed on the bottom.  A great item for those hot dishes to protect your table.  There is a screw on the bottom of the expansion on each side, one is missing, but does not affect how it works.
