Every once in awhile, I like to go out on a limb and try something completely different from anything I've learned from jewelry making tutorials. This time, I opted for shaping the links of some of these items around square dowels, which, believe, took some practice to get the sharp angles I wanted. I liked the effect so much that I added a matching bracelet and a matching ring, as well as a set of earrings. While I was at it, I decided to try my hand at twisting links by hand, without tools, into sections of round links, also including crystals, as with the square link pieces. BTW, the company no longer manufactures these crystals beads and has forbidden the use of their brand name, or even their country of origin, in advertising. I can tell you this, however, do a simple search for Europe's finest crystal and the name will pop up immediately. The price quoted includes either combination of necklace and earrings. Matching bracelets and the ring are also available for an additional $15 apiece.
