Bill Bradley Lester Scott Memorial Award Trophy Princeton Univ New York Knicks

Description:
If you have been looking for a one of a kind Bill Bradley item, you have found it.  This trophy cup was bought at an Estate Sale near Bill Bradley's hometown in Crystal City Missouri, possibly from a close relative, who had many unique Bill Bradley items.  This "Lester Scott Memorial Award" was awarded to Bill Bradley from Princeton University in March of 1965 for "Outstanding Visiting Player", it was presented to him by the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association (MBWA).  Bill Bradley went on to become a gold medal Olympian,
College Player of the Year (1965), 2x NBA Champion, NBA All Star, 2x Sporting News Player of the Year, 2x First Team All American, scoring over 9,000 points and being inducted into the College Basketball Hall of Fame as well as the Basketball Hall of Fame.  And after all that, he then ventured into politics, having a successful 18 year career as a New Jersey Senator.

The trophy is 13 inches tall, the base is 7.7 inches wide, and 8.25 inches across the top.  There is some tarnish/spots and scratches, but no dents.  It weighs 5 pounds 9 ounces.  It has a removable aluminum insert which could allow it to hold champagne or flowers.  The wood base has a few scuffs and imperfections, but nothing serious.

This would be a great talking piece in someone's man cave.

Trophy will be shipped with tracking and insurance.
