Created with love in Adelaide, South Australia, My Beloved Pet's memorials are designed to bring joy to you in your grief. Together, we will go through all the happy memories you have of your beloved pet and come up with the perfect eulogy for them, one that describes all the reasons why you loved them so much.
Designed to be displayed in a special place in your home, the fully personalised Traditional Deluxe Memorial is comprised of you pet's watercolour and custom-written eulogy, which are set side by side in a shallow box-framed style. Both your water colour and eulogy will measure approximately 21cm by 29cm, and the finished,
matted and framed piece comes in at approximately 48cm by 43cm in size. It is suitable for any sort of pet, no matter whether cat, dog, rat, lizard, horse,...: what matters most is the memories you have of your beloved.
If you’d like to save on shipping costs, and purchase just the watercolour and eulogy, please visit my shop, where that option is available.
To create your pet's eulogy, I will be interviewing you for your most precious memories of your pet. The interview takes about 45 mins and is done over the phone, either by standard mobile, or apps like WhatsApp, FaceTime and FaceBook Messenger. Please let me know if you would prefer to email me your own notes rather than be interviewed and I will email you my standard questionnaire to get you started.
To produce your pet's watercolour, I work with either of two different Australian artists, Jen Sweeney Art or Illustraions by Eleanor, depending of course, on which is able to take a commission. You will need to provide high resolution digital images of your pet (300 ppi), taken in good light, for them to be able to produce a detailed artwork of your beloved pet.
What happens next? After you place your order, I will be in touch to book your interview, to collect your pet's photos and discuss timelines. Once the interview has occurred, I will write your pet's eulogy while Jen or Eleanor creates the watercolour. This can all take a few week of course, and at then end of this stage of production, I will get in touch with you for your feedback and approval. Once we know you are happy with your pet's eulogy and watercolour, they will go off to the framer's. For frames, you have a choice of from light to dark wood, or a lime-green wash.
