This is a GENUINE Don Hansen 3/8 inch diameter twisted copper wire ring snaffle bit, and is probably one of the most popular and useful bits in the performance horse business. This MADE IN THE USA bit won't bend, break, and generally fall apart like the imported copies. The bit is pre owned and does have some flats and chew marks on the soft copper mouthpiece as shown in the photos. Don Hansen perfected his bits for function and balance. The mouthpiece is pure copper and promotes a soft mouth. The rings are stainless steel. Just a GREAT training bit for that horse that needs a little more persuasion. This is a genuine collector's bit and the back side of the right hand ring is stamped with his maker's mark "DH" as shown in the photos. The rings measure 3 inches on the inside diameter, and the mouthpiece is 5 inches wide by 3/8 inch in diameter. The bit weighs 7.47 ounces so it is a very nice light bit for the well trained horse. Don't miss out on the chance to add this great Don Hansen bit to your training collection.
