✅ Goumi is native to the Russian Far East, China, and Japan, where it is highly valued. This medium-sized shrub grows to about 6 ft in height, with attractive silvery-green foliage. In mid to late May, it produces fragrant white flowers, which are loved by bees and serve as excellent pollinators. Its juicy, scarlet-red fruit, speckled with silver, ripens in July and has a pie cherry-like flavor. The fruit is delightful fresh and makes delicious preserves.
