This is a piece that’s shrouded in mystery and speculation as well as a deep sorted past, of uncertainty.
I’m not sure of it’s specific origins & the exact nature of the history tied to this piece is largely unknown. Lost to time over the course of events or circumstances with which it has been presently understood to have traces spanning as far back roughly something just around if not over 1000 years old.
It could very well in fact go much farther back than this even.
As stated initially, if this were simply not able to determine how old it actually is.
What is known is that it’s a relic, passed down from within a family that had passed down from, initially the Ukraine in the early 1800’s. in the early 1900s it had been brought over to the states while migrating. The roots of this family had been able to trace the roots of their genealogy back to the time of the formation of the original 12 tribes of Israel.
Though the farthest back they had account of from Ukrainian territory in the 1800’s.
