A 1 -3" tall native perennial plant that naturalizes in a suitable habitat. Drought tolerant plant prefers dry to medium soils and easy to grow. Blooms from mid summer into fall and longer when there is moisture. Perfect for meadows. 


Deer resistant plants make a great source for nectar for beneficial insects. Native Americans used the plant in dermatological, analgesic, and gastronintestinal herbal remedies.
