DP-5 dose rate meter is designed to measure the gamma and beta radiation levels and radioactive contamination of the surface of various objects (and liquids) by gamma and beta radiation.
The exposure dose rate of gamma and beta radiation is determined in milliroentgens or X-rays per hour for the point of space in which the detection unit of the device is located during measurements.
