One of 21 different official rookie cards of the fastest thing on ice, in the NHL anyways, is this Fleer Showcase Hot Prospects Rookie Auto Patch card, numbered out of 299. A three color patch and Connor McDavid's blue ink autograph enhance the front, while the back tells of the patch having been used in a rookie photo shoot. Connor's huge numbers with the Erie Otters in 2014-15 (44 goals and 120 points in 47 games) and his three Ontario Hockey League seasons (285 points in 166 contests) are also visible. As for the card's condition, it has a BGS 8 NR-MT grade which is really good considering these cards generally grade low and rarely see GEM status and never hit PRISTINE!

Fleer Showcase has entrenched itself as Upper Deck’s modern retro hockey brand. While much of the content relies on updated versions of classic sets and inserts, Rookie Cards are more about the content.
