Together with an external 3-phase isolation-transformer the 

BPS 10 represents the 200 V DC-Power supply. 

It's function besides full wave rectification and filtering also includes a power shunt or regeneration. 

The regeneration circuitry limits the DC-Bus voltage level during deceleration of the motor

 with it's load thus preventing an overvoltage shut down on the S-BTS 10 R.  

Have some cosmetic issue screw fitting is minor damage, due to old stock.
