This vintage resin Saint Therese statuette is a beautiful piece of art that will add a touch of elegance to your home altar or vintage religious artifacts collection. The statuette, made in Italy for Roman Inc., measures 9.5" (24.13 cm) tall and 2.25" (5.72 cm) wide, and features Saint Therese holding a crucifix with roses, based on a 1912 painting by her sister, Sister Genevieve of the Holy Face (Marie Celine Martin). The original foil label is affixed to the bottom, and the back of the statue is incised with E.T.

Saint Therese of Lisieux, also known as Saint Therese of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face or the Little Flower, was canonized by the Catholic Church in 1925 and declared a Doctor of the Church by Pope John Paul II in 1997. She is one of the most popular saints in modern times.

The statuette is in good condition with some wear present.
