An item that has been used previously. The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear, but is fully operational and functions as intended. I do a light cleaning and leave the final wash up to the new owner.  

This utensil has cooked many family meals over the decades. You can tell by the wear and tear that it shows. It was certainly a kitchen favorite of the chef.

***Flawed I feel there are hair line wood splints in the handle. There is no wobble or noticable defect.
