My road ahead looks steep and rough,

can’t you tell I’ve had enough!

Life can grind me down no more,

for I am so very tired, low and sore.

Whatever angel is listening, hear my plea,

remove my burdens and set me free.

Take my hand and lead me to a better time,

one that I can truly enjoy and call MINE!

So, I hear what you say now, and I understand,

I must let go of worry and fear and their demands.

It is by practicing inner and outer love can I be free,

and then I can enjoy my life in being the real ME!
