They even thrive in poor soil!  Annual that will lightly re-seed. This nasturtium derives it's named after the ape-like creature that legend says inhabits the himalayas. This white nasturtium is rare, but not ape-like in any way. Creamy white flower blooms on long trailing vines that have large leaves. Vines can reach nearly 7 feet tall.....attractive on fences, arbors or buildings. Flowers and leaves are edible...adding a peppery flavor....used in salads, soups & pastas. Produces massive amounts of blooms from early summer until first frost.
