Beautiful 7 inch tall lidded stein with a Biergarten scene surrounded by flowers and an inscribed scroll.  I believe this is from the early 1950s from when my Dad was stationed with the US Army in Western Germany in 1953.  There are no blemishes, scratches, chips, etc though the pewter lid could use a nice polishing.  This has been on display in a non-smoking household.
